Audition for Jermaine Nakia Lee’s Harlem Renaissance sensational musical, FOR THE LOVE OF HARLEM, which will open at CPCC's Parr Center in September 2023. Seeking extraordinarily talented individuals of African descent. Performers will be compensated.

About the event
Jermaine Nakia Lee’s sensational musical, FOR THE LOVE OF HARLEM is back and better than ever! This theatrical experience will take you on a journey to the 1920’s -30’s Harlem Renaissance period - an artistic & cultural awakening for Black Americans during the Jim Crow era. Through the literature, dance, music, visual art and socio-political conditions of that period, this performace will establish the importance of the Harlem Renaissance as a fundamental milestone in the overall progression of African-Americans.
